(Please only expert advise or from a cine owner)

How does one transfer their old cine film onto DVD using the projector?
Please provide a number of methods if available. Thanks.

Do not suggest going to a photography specialist because I don't feel comfortable handing over precious and sentimental footage to someone else.

I use SONY VCR-4 TELECINE CONVERTER

Not sure if you can get them new but Ebay is a good place for that. Basically it has a small screen onside the untit, with your projector you focus on the screen then with your video cameraa you record the projection screen. Simple but effective. there are other units on the market that will do it with out the vide camera but they will cost you loads of money.

I do know of a couple of companies that will allow you to be there when they process the film, but thats not in the USA. maybe a cine club near you some of the member may be able to help you out.

I wish you luck
