I'd liek to put a new sound system into my f-150. Im not looking for anything expensive because im young and i just want a clear sound with some good bass. I've never put oen in before but i've heard alot of people put them under the rear seat with some seat lifters installed. Im thinking maybe 2 10 inch subwoofers would work? Im looking for the following information:

1) All the parts I will need including the housing for the subwoofers and if i need to add speakers in the front doors and what kind of amp I will need and any type of advice.
2) Good, cheap products of everything and an estimate to how much i will need to spend.

Don't forget, I haven't got a clue to what im doign so any advice or extra information is very helpful,
Thankyou.

go out buy your 2 10 inch subs then find a box that can hold the 2 subs together or buy 2 separate boxes, depending what u want, put the sub speakers in the box, then go and buy a amp with about 800 to 1000 watts, i have 2 tens hooked to a 800 watt amp, next mount the amp where u want it in the truck, run disconnect your negative battery cable, connect your power wire with a in line fuse to the positive of the battery to the power of the amp, next connect a ground wire from the ground of the amp to a good metal ground connection on your truck, make sure the area is clean and if there's paint scratch the paint off, next pull out your head unit(radio) and find the blue wire on the back this is the remote wire, run a wire from that to the remote hookup on the amp it will be by the power and ground, then connect your rca cables from the amp to the radios output on the rear of the radio, then take some speaker wires and connect them to the speaker terminals of your subs and connect them to the amp making sure positive is to positive and negative is to negative and that's it, you can buy a wire kit for the amp that will come with all wires you need, if you get a 600 watt amp look for a kit that says for 600 watt if you get a 800 watt amp find a kit for 800 watts, walmart carries them and so will any audio store.good luck and i hope this helps
