Facebook is making me like random pages?

So yesterday, I went on my facebook and I was scrolling down my home page when I noticed a fan page had wrote a status. It was a fan page I have never heard of. So I went on the page, none of my friends had liked it, I have never heard of it either. So I went on it's page and unliked it. Today, the exact same thing happened I was scrolling down and I noticed a page I have never liked or heard of before. I went on the page and I noticed that none of my friends had liked it either. I scrolled down and unliked it.

How do I make sure facebook doesn't keep on making me " like " random pages?

Try going into "app settings" and removing any unnecessary apps that have access to a lot of your personal information (e.g. quizzes and such)
