Facebook on Samsung home cinema?

I have a Samsung HT-C6930W home cinema system, connected by Ethernet to my broadband router. When I try to open Facebook I get an error message saying that 'Only a registered user' can access fb, and I must go to 'settings' and create an account. I have done this and provided my fb ID and password several times. My account shows up and fb shows as active in 'my account' but when I try to open fb I just get the same error. Does anyone have a solution to this please?
