Fancy Dress Party - Hollywood and Movies Theme?

I am going to a fancy dress part next friday (30th Jan) and I can't think of anything to dress as. It has a Hollywood and Movies theme. I don't want it to be like...GAY. Lol. Also, I don't want to spend a lot of money on my costume. Any ideas? xox
 
a marque- get a black t-shirt and one of those sets at a craft store for putting beads on jeans. then do a marque on the shirt of you favourite film. have fun!

Marilyn Monroe is always Hollywood...And really easy to dress as. White halter dress, red lipstick, heavy black mascara, a mole and your in there....
 
something easy,

my friend had the same party, its basically like any celebrities,

i went as a cheerleader from HSM ! cheap costume to buy and was a laugh to be honest lol!

i supose it depends on your age, think of your favourite film and try and pick a character from there :)

Do you mean you don't want to go as a gay movie star, or are you just throwing bigoted terms about for fun?

Go as something funny, like the Oscar statue (spray paint legging and a long sleeved tshirt with gold paint and cover your face with gold eyeshadow, slick back your hair and sprinkle with gold glitter on top of hairspray.
