every morning i have the same routine,i wake up eat some cereal with skim milk and whole wheat bread giving me about 56% of my fiber for the day 0 sugar in either, and then i have 4 cups of green tea before my endurance run which i do 2 hours after eating and drinking all that....in about 45min-1hour i have to go expel some stuff which leaves my stomach almost empty i think, atleast thats how it feels but im not hungry....then i do my cardio, 30min at 6mph,33min at 6.6 mph,5min at 6.9mph,2min at 7.2,another 2 min at 7.5mph and finally 8.1mph for 1min...i cool down for 2min walking from 3-3.9mph then do sprints,8.4mph for 3min and finally end off with 1min at 9mph...
im trying to love handles but its hard, and yes i am doing some weight training at the same time, but at night...my question is,if eating fiber slows down the rate at which glucose enters the blood, would it be a bad idea to consume it before running/jogging?i thought your body first uses up all the glucose in the blood, then starts to use glycogen and then fat burning begins....so does eating fiber before running slow this process down??if so what should i eat before my runs??
i'm 5'9 and weigh about 125pounds
