feeding my cat fish? what to feed it?

ok so i have a catfish ive had him for a year in my aquarium hes probly grown to about 9 to 10 inches and i want him bigger .... so it there anything i can feed him to grow bigger besides feeding shrimp pellets?
 
What kind of catfish? How big of a tank? Clean water and good food is the best way to make him grow faster. Do more water changes and try feeding different carnivore foods other than a steady diet of shrimp pellets. Do NOT feed live food as this can transmit diseases.
 
bigger tanks can help with that also...not jsut the food. but the food suggestions above are great.
