Recently i have been feeling really distant from God and reading the Bible just does not seem enjoyable right now. I know it's my own fault that I'm feeling this way. I know God never leaves and its us that grow distant. Do any of you have any encouraging verses or interesting passages to in the Bible to read? I feel like my relationship with Christ is going nowhere and that I'm replacing him in my life with worldly things. I watch a lot of Anime and its become an idol in my life. I tried justifying it but i know i am guilty of temptation. I know i should run and flee from my temptations, but i just can't seem to give this one up. I don't want to. That's my problem, I enjoy watching anime and don't want to stop. It is replacing my relationship with Christ and I need some help. Can any of you give me some verses to refuel my walk with Christ? Something full of promise. I have read a lot of the New Testament and psalms, i really like Philemon, james, ephesians, Philippians... those books. Can you give me something preferably not in those books? something new.. ish. Thank you so much! God bless!
