i need to replace thermostat and have located on net how to do this however although i know i need a socket set (which i dont yet have) what size socket do i need and is there n e other tools i could use or need?
this car uses standard metric sizes. get a set starting at 8mm or near and going up to at least 19mm. most car nuts and bolts will be : 8mm,10mm,13mm,15mm,17mm,19mm. it will use others but you can but a larger range socket set or get individual sockets to suit.
bets way is a full size set available at places such as Halfords but do shop online too as not everywhere do these cheap and it will also depend on quality of Tools . eg chrome molybdenum .
