fiat stilo drivers airbag light stays on?

i have a 03 plate stilo and the airbag warning light stays on. is it possable to switch it of myself as my dealer wants 140pounds to do i. i need to turn it of as im going to sell it. the air bag has been check and is fine.

if the light is on there IS a problem with the system somewhere. It is ILLEGAL to disable safety features, or hide the fact a safety feature does not work and then sell the vehicle without telling the buyer. sorry you should fix it properly or leave the light alone and tell the buyer.

this question came up once before, it was very helpful to me . I have berlingo and was told that the airbag is some how connected to the inertia seatbelt and that the connector for it is under the drivers seat after checking with the ign off found said connector and just pushed it together, turned the ign on and it was solved. My son on his car had the same problem but he disconnected his and reconnected it and we solved that the same way as well. whether it solves it for you, but worth a try. hope so good luck.
