fiat stilo wiring new head unit?

i am fitting new head unit in fiat stilo, i get power on the stereo but when i turn the key the stereo cuts off, like there is no power running to it, left head units out over night an some think drained the battery checked with halfords an they say it should fit right in an cant under stand why it drained the battery, an fiat well they say ive wired it up wrong an they want £80 to look at it WELL THANKS FIAT!!!!!!!!!!!. any body help me plz thank's kieron b

I Think You Have Some Thing backwards to

You put it in so you obviously no a bit about wiring take off Just the 2 power wires and hook up a volt meter one of them should read 12V when the key is OFF This Is Your Main Power. The other is the remote turn on and SHOULD only have power when the key is ahead.

So in saying all that lol You probley have your power wires backwards
