I have done research on this topic but was hoping for clarity so I can be entirely sure before I make my purchase. A friend of mine in another state would like me to get this game so we can play multiplayer together. She has the game for the Wii; however, even though I have a Wii myself, I would prefer to get the game for the DS so I can play it whenever instead of just at home. Is it possible for the DS and Wii to link up and play multiplayer? I mean this as in across states and not just in the same room or something. The sites I've looked at have lead me to believe this is possible in close range but I'm not sure about over long distances. :)
