In intermediary has a cadre of investors ready to listen to a pitch for a major business proposal. The intermediary has framed the big event as taking place at the board room of a major bank in our state in their flagship, brand new office tower. I come to find out the event is not so set in stone, and the bank president more or less needs some tacit assurance that his bank is in the lead to acquire the debt portion of the deal. The intermediary had me send the bank president an email, cold, briefly explaining my project and biography, but more so to request a tour of the new tower as I have employed one of the same architecture firms on my project. It was supposed to be a "soft" introduction; meet and greet. it has been weeks and weeks and i have not heard back from the bank president, although the intermediary says my email was worded and framed perfectly. The bank president, myself, and the intermediary have all been out of town at various points since i sent the email a month ago. Should I:
Follow up with another email
OR
Make a phone call, referencing the email
OR
Insist the intermediary set up the meet-and-greet
OR
Assume the bank president is uninterested, unimpressed with my overture?
PS: by April 2, we will all be in town I think.
