The world’s first and only “sport activity coupe” is getting a light refresh for 2012 to go along with the new M model we previewed earlier this week. From an appearance standpoint the new X6 isn’t dramatically different, with the most notable change coming in the form of adaptive LED headlamps, a first for the segment. LEDs also make it into the taillights and help to create what BMW calls a more “intense” back end (although how the X6’s posterior can get any more intense, we aren’t totally certain). The trademark kidney grill remains, but the bars inside it have been angled to give it a more aggressive and upright look. Matte fog light surrounds along with new wheels and paint round out the cosmetic changes to the exterior.
