Basically. Girls ex-boyfriend might attempt to end my life.... never been in an actual fight where the person wants to kill me... so anything you can add will help.

Friends as back up down the street in trucks. Keep it even until his friends jump in. Do you really think he is willing to go to jail for 10+ years just for your scrawny little ass. Probably not, its just talk. Welcome to high school but on that rare case it just might happen. Some people are fucked up in the head.

Make sure you take the first hit. The first hit always catches the person off gaurd and is a huge advantage. If you land the first punch right to his jaw and just attack him, he wont even have time to react.

Ok my first tip, avoid the fight. It's probably not going to go down anyways, most people will only talk a lot of shit, and unless you're just as big of a prideful meathead idiot, then brushing off this guy shouldnt be too hard.

Should he actually fight you, punch him in the throat. A good punch to the throat will end any fight.

Too hard though and you might kill him. Soo...yeah. Fine line.
