Fitness help........trying to get buffer?

I am 14,in high-school and I'm trying to get in shape so I can have more muscle mass and tone.........I'm a hard gainer,I can't do diet plans,I run cross country,and I do just about 4-8 miles almost every day and I run a 19:30 3 mile,and I'm a freshman in high school........help me out here,what should I do to get buffer and more built
