**Sorry if some of these questions are stupid- I'm new to cycling and am still learning!**
I'm looking for a flat bar road bike (I have a bad neck / back) to do mostly road work / some bike path (packed gravel) work on.
I've tried the Trek 7.5 fx bike and liked it a lot and was wondering if it was really worth it to get the 7.6 fx? I also tried the Giant FCR 2 (Is the Giant FCR 1 that much better?), and it was pretty nice. The FCR 2 was a size too big, so it's hard to tell if I liked it or the Trek more...
Which are better of the two (component wise)? Does one have worse brakes, tires, etc.?
Do you know of any other good hybrids? I'd like it to be under $1,200 and for it to have a carbon fiber fork (and seatpost if possible).
Thanks!
