flea problem in my cat?

my cat has fleas. i bought a treatment but didnt realise until after that its to prtotect against them so while it kills the eggs it wont kill the adult fleas.it contains pyripoxyfen. can i now use another treatment such as frontline containing fipronil which will kill the fleas? im worried about giving my cat too much medicine and making her sick.

It should be fine, but just ask the people at the shop where you bought it. They should be able to give you free advise about what to & not to do with the treatments.
Otherwise you can try washing your cat with a flea treatment, but i can't see that going down so well haha
