2 Timothy 4:1-5
Preach the Word, be ready in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3. For the time will come
when they will note endure sound doctrine, but after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itchy ears.4. AND THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES.
 
It means to stay away from false Christs like Bush, Obama and those other people on TV (Benny Hin) who say they're Christian, but blind people. Even many church services blind people. Take up the spiritual shield of salvation and the spiritual sword of truth and protect your conscience from brainwashing.
 
We are definitely in those times. People would rather listen to tv evangelists or pastors who speak uplifting messages than to anyone who speaks the truth plainly. Or some will go from one church to another seeking another "experience". This is not how it should be. Thanks for the question.
 
All that is happening right now. People turning from the truth of God and making their own path, a road to destruction. It is prophecy being fulfilled.
