I'm currently competing for starting halfback in my jv high school team, going into 10th. I started halfback every year since i was old enough to just play flag football. Only up until about in 2007 it was championship game for our 110 team and in fourth quarter after 250+ yards and 3 touchdowns, I was running for field goal range and i sideline ran until 3 fat linebackers tackled me. One stepped on my foot the others pushed me while all 3 of us were going down, my bone popped out my skin in my ankle and hasn't returned to the gridiron since, we won though. I'm trying to make a come back and was trying to start after enough recovery time. I base my running off of Adrian Peterson because I'm short, not that strong, has hands, and a little above average speed with ball control and some nice huh-baby moves. I was wondering if there were any sort of drills or videos to help better your running skills. Thanks.
