For those of u that hate pit bulls?

i just have to ask the people that hate pit bulls. how many of u have ever gotten closer than 10 feet to a pit. how many of u have actually met a pit. i have met many of these dogs. and to tell u the truth they r really sweet, loyal, goofy, and courageous. so pit haters. how many pits have u actually met. or do u base all of ur knowledge off of research and news stories. i am going to admit it. i used to hate pits. but that is until i met one. i used to think they were scum of the earth because of all the stories i had read. but then i met one. and now i have changed. so have u ever even met one
brian: my point exactly. u have never met one and ur basing ur opinion on something that someone told u or something u saw in the paper.

here is one more question for u guys. did the dogs in these videos deserve this. did these dogs ask for what happened to them.
and one more thing brian. most of the serial killers in jail were abused as children. or their parents drank alcohol on a daily basis and did drugs. sounds kind of familiar right. most pits that attack r raised under these conditions too

YEs I;ve met one, Lived next door to it for severa years. It was a sweet loving dog up until it attacked my neghbor for no reason and she had to have 214 stitches to close up the wounds.

Pit bulls are one of the sweetest dogs I know, when they are raised right. Punish the Deed....not the breed.

I think it all depends on how they are raised. My mother has a purebred pit and she is more calm, sweet, loving and curious than my rat terrier or chihuahua. I believe no matter how friendly a dog is though it can attack if threatened, but that rule doesn't apply solely to the pit bulls that's any animal.....including ankle bitters like mine lol

pitbulls are cool if you train them right my good friend has a pitt and he has her trained so well and shes such a GOOD dog. very obiedent and she always seeks approval

on the other hand i rescued a pitt from the pound and it bit me on the face barely missing my eye which would of made me particially blind and we had to put her down =[

all dogs bite, most dogs bite arent very serrious and can be fixed with a bandage. pitbulls are very strong and have a strong bite causing more damage. so they are no worse then anyother dog.

Personally i have a mini doxie who we really love and enjoy her antics, i think that has a lot to do with how the animal, no matter what the breed, is treated, etc..........like children, if you treat them with dignity and respect you should be able to raise some really decent kids who show respect for themselves and others.......training any type of dog takes patience, love and more patience.......gentleness can be taught to an animal and a child alike...........we are human beings who happen to enjoy our pets.........treat them as you yourself would want to be treated........and just plain love them!!!!

no, and I do not want to meet one. Many serial killers in jail are lovely sweet people too.

All the worst dog attacks in our city have been by pitbulls.I think their record speaks for itself.

AMEN to that! Hey, TootinCommonSense is aggressive and dangerous, lets ban HER! To anyone who has ever shared their life with one of these remarkable creatures, or has witnessed first hand the devastation that ignorance has spawned, keep on fighting and speaking your mind and heart about these dogs. SOMEONE has to stand up for them, why not us? I doubt one of these haters has half the compassion, courage or strength of a Pit BULL! PS NO DOG ATTACKS FOR NO REASON! IF THEY DID, WE WOULD HAVE NEVER SHARED OUR CAVE WITH ONE BACK IN THE DAY. ANIMALS DO NOT SIN, PEOPLE DO.
