If the frame is slightly bent, passenger side where it attaches to the bumper, can the car ever be safe to drive again?
I got hit hard by a uninsured drunk driver. My insurance it turns out only has noninsured bodilly (not collision) coverage. I won't be taking it to a professional to do any body work as the car only had kelly blue book value of $2100-2500 before the accident. The car runs fine. Necessary repairs include replacing tail lights, back window. I have modest mechanical skills but the time and patience to learn as I go if worthwhile. Otherwise I'll scrap for parts, metal, ect.
