As already said, the Escape is a small SUV, and the Sequoia is a large SUV. It depends on your needs, but personally I would go with the Escape. The gas mileage is tremendous and has a lot of giddy-up, which probably isn't in the Sequoya since it's larger. I would love to own an Escape for these two reasons and lots more, including that it's an American car.

Ford Escape is smaller. It's closer in size to Toyota's Rav4.
Sequoia is MUCH bigger, on par with the GMC Yukon/Chevy Suburban.

Escape's mileage will be better than the Sequoia's.
Escape gets 28mpg hwy.
Sequoia will get around 18.

ok wow i hope you do know your comparing a small suv to a big suv...

the ford escape is a small suv doesnt take that much gas

the toyota sequoia is a big suv it has a v8 engine so it eats a lot of gas

even though the sequoia is a lot bigger eats way more gas id go with the sequioa its way nicer then a escape
