My 2000 5dr 1.8 petrol Ford Focus Zetec is losing power under strain Up Hills/Slip roads Etc. It seems when i'm in about 3rd gear the revs just go up and up but gives out no power almost like the engine has fell out. Then I move to 4/5th gear and slowly gain speed. It only seems to do this on fast acceleration or climbing hills. It only started this yesterday.The cars idle has always been a bit low but don't think it related. Any help/Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
