Fords, dodges, and GMCs unreliable?

Ok my dad says all these cars are unreliable but I really like some of them there is no way he will get me a dodge or gmc, he says everything they make is bad. Ford he just recently started disliked after our ford explorer because it had so many problems. So are they all good? Some good? If some are which ones? Or is my dad right and are they all bad?

LOL I remember the old Ford Taurus 86' or so, it would slow down up hills so badly even a person walking would beat us to the top. Never liked Ford at all, bad experience with them all the time, dodge the same. Not sure about GMC though.

it all depends on you. how you treat it makes a huge difference. im the same way, my parents hate anything not imported and they base it on reliability. if you like a dodge, buy a dodge. but take care of it because these names have been known for problems but its like a stereotype.
