Hey, I'm trying to view my photos from my digital camera using the Memory Stick Duo Adapter from Sony. I have a tiny Acer netbook.
I have had no problems with this adapter in the past. However, this time when I tried to use the adapter the 'Found new Hardware' icon came up saying found new hardware base system. I went through the steps it said, and then it said "cannot install because it cant find the necessary software".
I don't know what the heck is going on. It's so frustrating! Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? I've tried everything and nothing is working. I've searched online all night and can't find anything that works.
I did a virus scan and nothing came up...if that helps. Please help!
