Found small worms in toilet bowl after vacation?

I went away for 3 weeks and came back to find a few small nail sized worms in my toilet (http://www.flickr.com/photos/68734838@N02/6252521065/in/photostream). Do I have intestinal worms (I have no symptoms) or are they from the plumbing?
 
Intestinal worms would be small thin and whitish clear, those must be from the plumbing, or if your air vent is right above the toilet like mine is, possibly from there
 
intestinal worms usually look whiter and a whole lot longer depending on how much time they've had to grow but i don't know where else they might have come from because regular worms wouldn't be able to get into a toilet unless they are maggots that were eating something but what are the odds of that?
you should go to a doctor anyway though to make sure
