Free calling apps for blackberry and android?

I have a blackberry, my partner has an android. He is overseas atm and Skype will not work for us because of time difference/schedules. Are there any apps that work on both systems that will allow us to call each other using the internet?
Not Viber or Skype, please.

I don't think you're gonna be able to find VOIP apps that run on both android and blackberry. Since these kinda apps require that both you and the other side have the app, I don't think it would work. Your best bet is to use google voice.
