Free Music? Good file sharing programs?

So all I want is a file sharing program ro something to dowload free music like limewire or something, but im afraid of gettin limewire cause of all the spyware and adware or how I could avoid it or what other programs are there that are good to use?

limewire slows down your computer

i thought bearshare was good... for the first few days but it really sucks

morpheus is acting stupid now
