Free newsgroup from my ISP question?

I am using optimum online's free newsgroup server. Do you think they track your downloads and would you download stuff like movies/music or not?
 
NNTP (newsgroup) downloads are easily tracked and are typically built into the NNTP server software. Whether or not your ISP is tracking or not is really unknown.
