Can someone please check these three sentences for me? thanksEstelle Halliday a déposé une plainte à cause de certaines images d'elle qu'on avait diffusées sur le Net=> i'm especially referring to the verb ending of diffuser in the sentence aboveL'argent en joue un role important or is it ... L'argent y joue un role importantFinally..La liberté d'expression est plus importante que toute => especially looking at the spelling of toute, should it be tout, or maybe tous? Thanks very much for your help

'Diffusées' is correct - feminine plural to agree with preceding direct object.'y joue' - as if you were saying 'there' - 'en' means 'of it' or 'some'.'tout' - not referring to any specific noun, so 'neuter' - i.e. masculine singular spelling.

The first sentence is ok.For the second I would say "l'argent y joue..." but I don't have the context so it's hard to say but you can't say "en joue" anyway.La liberté d'expression est plus importante que TOUT.

I think that the first sentence is right. In the 2nd sentence I have no idea what you're talking about, I mean I understand what it says but I don't know what your overall context is. I would go with L'argent y joue un role important since it logically matches the way you've spelt "joue" .In the last one it should be tout.If what you meant was "Freedom of Speech is more important than everything." and that was the end of your sentence tout would be the correct one to use.But if your sentence carries on, as in Freedom of Speech is more important than all *here something female* toute would be the correct one, but I assume you simply want to say tout :).Bye ^^

1. It is perfect (des images diffusées)2. L'argent y joue2. que toute autre liberté. Ok. This depends on the following sentence but if there is no other sentence, then it is 'que tout'.La liberté..... est la plus importante de toutes. You should have written down the whole sentence.Wouahhh, I'm impressed. You're very good.

The last one i'm sure of, it's tout!Tout is not referring to la liberté d'expression, importante is ;-)

mad and manhattan are correct (they usually are). Just to explain further "l'argent y joue": although it's not completely clear what the context is, it seems likely that what you're saying is something like "money plays an important role [in this lawsuit]". Since the preposition is referring to 'where' the money is playing an important part, it has to be "y".
