Friend offered cigarette, I refused..Did I do the right thing?

We are both Juniors in High School, Because I didn't want to take his cigarette, he didn't want to be friends with me. After 3 years of friendship, we were almost like brothers. Should I have just taken the cigarette like a man?
 
Hell no friends don't put pressure on friends to do stupid shit. He may think your a square but you are better than him. I have friends that go to parties and don't do drugs at all including alcohol. Find people that connect with you and don't judge because of what you may not do.
 
yes you did the right thing, smoking is SO gross. i would never date a guy that smoked. He'll come around.

i am happy you refused.i am a former kickboxer(at national level) and ruined my chances of becoming my chances of becoming a better sportsman becuase of cigarettes..you have so much to lose if you start smoking.
you acted like a mature young man by refuzing this cigarete
 
smoking doesn't make you a man. you did the right thing don't second guess yourself.
 
NO. you did the RIGHT THING! YAY! ;D if he gave u cigarette then hes becoming like a smoker. you can hang out with him. but if he tells u to smoke say no again :].
