Hello, I am decorating some cupcakes and would like the smooth frosting look. Every recipe I find says to melt store bought frosting and dip the chilled cupcake into it. Does anyone know if I can do it with homemade frosting? are there certain ingredients to avoid or include when making the frosting for melting??
