Bell has never been FTA. Anything involving FTA and Bell (in recent years anyways), has only been related to signal piracy.

If it is aBell dish, all it can get is the Bell service, and you need their receiver and subscription to get that service.

To get FTA, you need a 36" or larger Ku dish with linear Ku LNBF.

I recently moved into appartment and the previous owner left me some kind of satellite receiver, and he told me that there is an old Bell dish on the roof hooked up to this receiver and I can watch free to air channels. Any answer with detailed description how to watch these channels will be appreciated. I live in Montreal.
