I bought a basket case scorpion stinger 440. I can getit to run off ether but it wont suck gas out of the tank. The fuel primer buls were old and cracked so I just replaced those with check valves. I sucked gas through the intake line up to the carb but the carb wont suck gas in on its own. The carb has 3 ports (one on the very bottom, one on the middle of the left side as your sitting on the sled, and one on the lower right side). Right now I have the return line hooked up to the one on the very bottom base and the intake line on the one on the right side. Is this correct? Also is the intake line supposed to have something in the tank other than just a hose running to the bottom? Seemed like a primitive setup to me with no fuel pump.
