By now, you’ve probably heard about the 68-year-old bus monitor who was taunted unmercifully by middle schoolers, who then posted a video of the incident on YouTube. After the video went viral (it currently has over 6 million views), the woman has received an outpouring of support from the incident — monetary support as well as emotional.

A fund was set up on the crowd-funding site indigogo.com to help provide the bus monitor, Karen Huff Klein, with a much needed vacation. Originally intended to try to raise $5,000, the fund now exceeds $630,000 with 27 days still left on the funding campaign. Undoubtedly the woman deserved a break after the experience, but we’re sure she didn’t expect a life-changing windfall.

You can check out the shocking video below. Warning — it’s 10 minutes long and contains profanity.
