Hi guys... So I have a bit of a moral dilema here... My great aunt (whom I never really got to know) died this last week and her funeral is on this Saturday. Everyone was shocked by the news. Here is my dilema... Both my grandmother and grandfather are very sick and will not be able to make it to the funeral. My grandfather has just asked me to represent them both, as they are almost like my true parents. I guess they were fairly close to my great Aunt so I think at least my grandfather would try and do a speech or something from the good of his heart.
This is where I come in. Do I have to do a speech for them? Should I do something during the funeral to make people feel that I am representing them both? Rather than should, I want to, but I'm really nervous as I've never been to a funeral before and don't know what to do...
Should I ask my grandfather to write a speech and present it? I wish I could write something, but I never really knew her... or remember her (and I feel awful because of that).
Some, please help...
