I have to write an essay on how information and communication technology (ICT) will impact us by the year 2020 - basically eight years from now.
So far my points are:
- less paperwork, everything would be done online.
- more CCTV cameras in neighbourhoods, not just commercial areas. This could lead to a lower crime rate, however it could be seen as an 'invasion of privacy'.
- video conferencing = more businessmen conducting meetings from their offices, and therefore they would not need to travel for meetings as much.
What else could I include? Also, what is a relatively simple definition of ICT? I know what it is generally, but I am not sure how to make a definition. Thank you!
