Future of the New York KNICKS?!?!?!?

Yes we all know that the Knicks arent a good team mainly because they dont have any stars. Even in a losing season they tend to get too competitive which allows them to miss out on good draft picks. My question is ... what are the Knicks plan and how are they going to get better. I hear that they are releasing half the team or they did already and only kept dave lee so that when their next star comes it will be the new Kobe Shaq duo.

Who is the next star the knicks are looking for? could it really be lebron who becomes a free agent next year?

Lebron becomes free agent in 2010 and it can happen but you never know a lot of ppl are free agents in 2009-10 knicks can also get wade, bosh any1 they want if they got the money

Buddy, the Knicks are a living testament that an NBA team could win w/ a lack of stars you can take the 90's Knicks w/ Ewing - our sole star and play them against these Big 3 Celts. The Knicks w/ Ewing and the role players would win. All the Knicks need is one star and that would be Bosh and a 20+ PPG sharpshooter, like Redd and with all these very good role players and Lee who will continue beasting the Knicks will be a force.

LeBron becomes a free agent after next season...

And I don't really think LeBron will go with the Knicks... I think the Knicks are looking to get Bosh, Joe Johnson, or someone like Stoudemire... Wade isn't going with the Knicks either...

But nothing is certain...
