Gaining muscle weight and running to do so..?

I love to run, and lately I've been going every other day and slowly working up to being able to run long distances. but I do not want to lose weight.
I'm at a healthy weight, but I do way less than average and would like to gain weight if possible.
I would like to accomplish this by gaining muscle weight and not fat weight.
If anyone has any tips to help with this I would really appreciate it.
