Today we are remembering the life of Garrett Reid. The son of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid, he was a 29-year-old kid who had seemed to have turned his life around. Unfortunately, that life came to an end this weekend. He was found in a college dorm room where the Eagles were staying during a training camp.

Said Howie Roseman, the GM of the Eagles: “We’ve been with Andy for a long time. He’s always been strong for us; we’re going to be strong for him right now. As a father and a friend, we’re all hurting.”
A former drug addict, Garrett Reid was seemingly clean in recent years. So far, there’s been no indication that drugs played a role in his death.
