OK so I'm living in central London atm, and this is the first time Ive properly been to London. Its all great but I feel so inadequate! Everywhere I go, there are girls who look like theyve come straight out of vogue magazine, all skinny and pretty and stylish, puffing on cigarettes, and I feel completely rubbish compared to them tbh.

Where I used to live, there was NO fashion scene, this is such a contrast. I dont think Im necessarily ugly tbh...

Does anyone else think a large portion of people in London are better looking and have more style than other parts of the country?

 I know how you mean. Everyone is beautiful on Oxford Street and dresses similar.

It's okay though, it just means I have to make more effort to look the same. Dunno, I'm used to it.

Just try walking down Kensington High Street. It's like walking through a glossy magazine

But, you know, I don't find any of them attractive.

I noticed that too! Straight away I realised, "oh, not one person is wearing a hoodie, just t-shirts" and "girls here look perfect". I hate buying clothes (seriously haven't bought any new clothes in like 2 years, only got new stuff at birthdays and xmas) so that will make it worse, haha

By that, I mean have confidence and believe in yourself. Believe that you are good-looking :yep:

Lol yeah you get that. But no one is judging you for not looking stunning. If you wanna look respectable like everyone else just improve your appearance. But do it for yourself, no one gives a crap whether you look like Shrek or Keira Knightly.

Finger in throat, 3 times a day after meals.. some lipo to speed things up.. boob job, nose job, lip job.. aaaaand.. youre done!

It's like that in most cities. Birmingham is an exception to the rule.

I agree, so many beautiful girls here, I have to read Lite to stop from staring at them on the commute home haha

Hardly clones. When people take good care of their appearance, and the general opinion of what looks good is what is on fashion magazines, then it's inevitable that people will look similar.

wow, didn't realise there were so many insecure people here.

even if they think you're not well dressed, so what? fashion should be banned anyhow.

but there are also ways to look good that are not in fashion magazines, you have to mix it up a bit. i'm not saying they look bad, they look great, but just doing something different once in a while. anyway, lets just agree to disagree :)

High street fashion sucks balls.

It isn't hard to look like a clone. Most high street shops these days are expensive Primarks anyways
