think? 1 n 10 is crap! Agree? How cool? I mean I think people are covering the real number. I think Obama has a chance of winning regardless of his decision. What do you all think?

I don't think the true percentage will ever be known until everyone is asked their orientation and everyone answers honestly.
Recently here in the UK it was officially suggested that just 1% of the population is gay or bi, based on information provided via official questionnaires. I personally identify my sexuality whenever asked, but some gay (or bi) folks won't and until they do it's impossible to know the actual percentage.

I don't know about Obama winning after admitting he's in favour of gay marriage. It would be insanely petty of people to not vote for him simply due to that reason, but some people are so vehemently against it that they can't think straight. No pun intended. :o).

yeah, see ive often wondered the same thing myself....there seems to be alot more gay people than merely 10% (altho when you think aobut it, the population is so huge, that 10% of it is still a massive amount of poeple)....but i doubt well ever truly know, because plenty of people hide in the closet for a long time (perhaps their whole life) and claim their straight. Also, there are the people who just arent reached in the surveys....so yeah, its likely that 10% isnt the correct percentage; it could be lower of higher (personally i think higher, like you, but who knows for sure?)
