Atheists tend to be funnier

Dara O'Briain, one of my personal favourite comedians, was raised as a Catholic but is now an Atheist and is hilarious

As is Ed Byrne

Frankie Boyle

Lots of people

OMG cat - No, I was just saying in general, that I find atheists funnier

Thankfully, real life Christians I know aren't as humour-less as you get here.

Atheists, here anyway, in answer to your Q

Edit - Do Dara O'Briain, Ed Byrne and Frankie Boyle really come on here? I'll look out for them

Sheer volume: atheist - specifically, scientists
who are atheists.

I watch science videos including lectures,
debates, and documentaries. Those guys
(mostly men) are hilarious!

Case in point: Richard Feynman.

In terms of intentional comedy, darling? Jews, by a mile...by several miles, in fact.

Unintentionally? Well, that would be fundies of any flavor, although I think Christian and Muslim fundies have the funniest, most absurd beliefs...and the poor things are so serious as they spout the most unbelievably laughable garbage and insist that it's true.

Religion or lack of it doesn't necessarily bring about humour or even 'humor'; it would be the way you look at life. I love to laugh but there is a time and place for everything. If you learn about Jehovah, you may be surprised at how much humor He has. BUT, all you need to do is look at the animals and a few of the jesters on this forum as well, and you know all about "High Volume". Peace! :D

Oh come on, this one is a slam dunk. It's Judaism, by a mile. A ridiculously high percentage of the great comedians have been Jewish: Jack Benny, George Burns, The Marx Brothers, Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Andy Kaufman, Gilda Radner, Jerry Seinfeld... the list is endless.
