Getting an LG KP500 (Cookie) unlocked...?

I recently purchased and LGKP500 Touchscreen mobile from Tesco direct. It has a tesco sim in it but i have a contract with Vodafone (wasnt due an upgrade but desperately needed a new phone)
Should i try and get it unlocked online or take it into a store?
If online what are the best places?
