Gigaware VHS to DVD converter - Sounds transfers to laptop, but the video won't?

This is for recording PS3 games by the way.

PS3 is plugged into video 1
Gigaware is plugged into Output

The sound will transfer over to my laptop to record, but the video doesn't come up. Any help?
