I am 23 and my girlfriend is 21. We have been seeing each other for 5 months now and officially been dating for 2 months. While dating and at college together we tend to text and talk a lot. She went off to spring break 15 hours away from our college and I stayed in town because she made these plans with her friends before her and I were dating. I met her through these friends and I do trust them and her with them. I also do trust her because I have had no reason to trust her until now.
Before I move on, I have to say that I am a person that can read people very easily. I catch onto peoples expressions, things they say, moods.. exc… especially when I know them well. I’ve always been able to read my ex’s pretty well too.
Before she left this past Saturday she drops hint that we are spending too much time together. The first few days while she’s gone I get shaken up because of saying that. Now that she’s gone, she maybe texts me a few times a day just saying hi, I’m at the bar drinking or I’m too drunk. She even did ecstasy one evening which I told her I 100 percent am against her doing that or any hard drug.
I finally spoke to her on the phone today for a few minutes and the first thing I said was hey I’m really sorry for bothering you, I feel like I’m blowing your phone up. She tells me don’t worry about it, I’m just not near my phone, I’m with my friends. During our conversation her tone seems different towards me. It wasn’t a sweet I miss you phone call, it was more of a I’m only calling you because your begging me too. I express everything to her the same way I am to you know saying hey you know I’m upset and feel like crap because your not taking a few minutes out of your day to call and say hi or to at least text to say hello.
I ask her again, at the end of our conversation and she says don’t worry about it, it’s not annoying me. So I feel fine and then she’s like I probably won’t talk to you until Sunday when I get back…. Again I go right back into, feeling like crap because she seems to be too busy on a 15 hour car ride to text me or call me for a minute or two.
I honestly need mature answers on this one, and I just need some help on what to do… I feel like shes distancing herself from me. Her best friend today told me everything’s fine but I’m not getting that feeling from my girlfriend at all.... I just need some advise on what to do...
