...you still be interested in him? like if he said he'll be leaving in an year will you still be interested in him. coz it looks like the only girls that likes a guy int eh military are the ones just looking to have a good time, looks like the marines and the army guys get no love lol, and i kinda like this girl and i told her i'm joining and now it looks like she's keeping her distance from me
 
Females love the army/marines guys! They lookj cute in uniforms and the distance just lets the heart grow and learn to love longer and strongerl.
 
Okay, here's the truth. If I were dating a guy going into the military, I would keep my distance too. I'm not being mean, just honest.

I wouldn't want to go through the pain of waiting for him to come home. I wouldn't want to suffer thinking the questions, "What if he's going to get hurt? What if he never comes home?" And all that stuff.

She probably likes you but doesn't want to go through the pain of watching you leave. If you're looking for a woman who will stay with you even though you're in the military, find someone who is very committed and confident.
