In a few hundred years, if global warming continues to occur at the same rate that it is now, what is the world supposed to look like? Will it be desertous, or will the coastlines just be underwater? Thanks
Believe it or not, if global warming continues the glaciers at the north and south poles will melt and raise the ocean level. Many landmasses will change in shape as lower areas like Florida will be submerged in water. With that much less land the then larger ocean will drastically change the global climate and send us into the next Ice Age.
The climate will be somewhat warmer. The equator regions will most likely be desert. Temperate climates now will be tropical. Some coastlines will disappear. Ohh, and it won't take a few hundred years, try about 50-60.
If you are interested in the effects of global warming, I highly recommend renting the movie An Inconvenient Truth. It's by Al Gore. And he shows you charts, pictures. Everything that has to do with global warming. I watched it in my Science class last year and I found it to be very interesting.
Answering this for you, and 10 points. The coastline may be under water. The global warming problem is not as bad as everyone is saying it is. Your Welcome.
Probably under a thousand feet of ice if you consider the cooling of the last few years. That is the same rationale used by global warmers. That and their secret computer models.
We will all die one day, what does it matter to you? Global Warming aint happining to us just to the next generation. Use and abuse this world so we may leave a huge mess for our children to clean
