why cant they get the hint and do what Ford did?? they only 'needed' 5 billion, and it was only for an EMERGENCY!

Setting aside your tastes in autos, why do you feel auto mfgrs don't need help but banks do? It was the credit problem that has caused people to stop buying cars. Can any business survive with 50% reduction in sales?
 
They want more money just like I predicted! Then they will want more again, again, again,again,again,.................Just like a begger on the street.
